August 8, 2000

Dear Henry Perry & Susan Young,

Thank you for the hospitality extended during Sandy Smith & my stay of July 7 – 17. We are both grateful.

We completed invoking, linking, and anchoring the energies of our San Diego meditation conference from the spring. This was a complementary second half to the subtle energy work begun in the fall in South America and anchored at the Foundation's property in October of 99. Sandy & I did several meditations on the mountaintop to the North of the building at the stone circle we created last year.

Our joint trip to visit Crestone and the Stupa was fulfilling. Sandy & I had participated in the creation of some of the magnetized items that went into creating the Stupa's spiritual focus-back in 92-93. This was our first time there. I brought a stone back from the Stupa and placed it in the stone circle on the mountaintop to the North of the center building and linked with the Stupa and Crestone energies.

It was inspiring to get a read on the Manitou Foundation and how they use land grants to seed the birthing of multiple spiritual, metaphysical, philosophical, and environmental centers in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.

Finding the resin incense was Serendipity, especially so, since it is so often used in sacred ceremonies-as we saw at Chimney Rock during the Indian dances. We have shared it several times since returning to Columbus.

My solo hike on the mountain top behind the center and the elk antler and Indian artifact find culminated our serial adventures in a most satisfying way. It will be interesting to hear what the archeologist has to say.

Lastly, enclosed is the newspaper article talking of spirit unrest in relation to the fires in the Mesa Verde area. Those fires occurred just after our departure. My link to the area was still strong. One night I awoke, becoming aware of astral presences is a state of agitation, bewilderment and seeming to be fleeing. I interpreted it to be related to other-dimensional disturbance associated with the fires in the Mesa Verde as I mentioned to you the next day on the phone. So it was with interest that I read the article that I copied and attached to this letter. Native American interpretation is different than mine but we are both referencing awareness of the same phenomenon.

Sandy & I both felt blessed to share with you, participate in joint activities, and contribute our abilities briefly toward the continuing progress of the Foundations' mission.

Blessings of Light, Love and Best Regards,
Stuart Benson
